Welcome Message from IEEE EPEC 2021 General Chair
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the IEEE Canada Electric Power and Energy Conference, I warmly welcome you to its 2nd virtual edition. This 21th edition of EPEC would have been the second time that IEEE Canada has held its flagship power and energy conference in Toronto but, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. IEEE Toronto Section is hosted as a fully virtual event. Our Conference theme for this year, “Renewable Energy and Smart Grids for Future Sustainable Cities,” reflects the current landscape of mandating energy diversification, and the technological foundation required to make it a success.
